The service was great but my food wasn't. I had chicken parmesan/chicken marinara. The pasta was mush, the breading on the chicken had soaked up all the sauce, the chicken itself was kind of tough and the sauce was watery and had no flavor. I was with a very large group of ladies, so I decided against complaining and just left the food on my plate and paid for it anyways. A friend I was with offered me some of her baked potato and it was very good, the bread was good. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food, so I think that my plate may have just been a fluke? The staff was super polite and the restaurant was clean.

The vegetable of the day was (and probably always is) the standard mix of carrot, broccoli, squash and cauliflower and was a little mushy to me. A couple of options would be nice. Some folks say they love the bread and it was good but really nothing special. Pleasant, relatively pricey meal. Extra star for service with three star food.

I Tried to go there for lunch. There was no one at the front to Greet me or seat me. The waitresses were so preoccupied with cleaning their tables they ignored me. I went to the bathroom. On the way back ,the same treatment. There was another customer waiting with the same results so I left.

This is the first year that we ventured down into North Myrtle Beach to dine out. We tried The Grill House and we were pleasantly surprised. The food is great. The service is great and the folks are Wolfpack fans. What more could anyone ask for ? We will be back the next time that we are at the beach.

MoreWe were disappointed in the food. The oysters Rockefeller looked like they were topped with cheese wiz. The shrimp Scampi was frozen shrimp in a very buttery sauce and not sure of anything else. The only thing that was half way good was the flounder and I’m not sure how anyone could mess that up. The prices are just not representative of the quality of food we were served. We will not be returning .

If it weighed 10 ounces, I must weigh 400 lbs., which I don't. I do not eat the fat around prime rib. My cut had more than it's fair share. I would estimate that at least a third of the cut was inedible.Very pricey for the size and quality of the food.I will say the service was excellent.We will not return.

MoreWe have been going to the Grill House at least once a year, for 20 years! This weekend, we went in 30 minutes before closing and was warmly welcomed by the whole staff. I got an amazing bone-in ribeye, and I believe it was the best steak I’ve ever eaten. We were the last customers there and were treated like royalty, never felt rushed. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone I know who vacations at Myrtle Beach!

MoreMy husband and I were looking for a nice local restaurant for dinner. We didn't want fast food or a mile long buffet. The Grill fit the bill perfectly. We never thought a restaurant named The Grill, located off a parking lot would be so nice, and have such ambiance. And the shrimp was the best.They were nice large shrimp, not a bunch of small shrimp loaded with batter, coated with just enough of a light better. We will be sure to come back next year, at our vacation time.

MoreHad crab stuffed shrimp which was very good. Bread and salad were good. Vegetable medley was not good, it tasted like it had previously been frozen and simply warmed up. Prices seemed reasonable. Early bird menu, before 6pm had really good deals.
